Nourish Nutritional Therapy is the company set up by the nutritional therapist, Vanessa Peacock, to provide nutritional guidance and detailed dietary prescriptions to individuals or groups seeking nutritional advice on how to ameliorate chronic health problems, or find out how to get optimal nutrition in general or for specific phases of life, i.e. pregnancy and nursing, sports nutrition, nutrition for children or the elderly. Mobile consultations, group seminars, and grocery shopping services are also available. Consultations are generally arranged in a few different ways:

 

Personal consultations:

The first consultation is 1.5 hours long. In this session, the practitioner will work with the client to form a set of health goals, take a details health patient history try to identify the fundamental nutritional deficits and excesses that may be contributing to ill health, and then a detailed dietary and supplemental prescription is provided to rectify those imbalances. Follow-ups appointments are 30-60 minutes, and are recommended 4-6 weeks after the initial consultation to make sure the prescription is appropriate for the client and they are seeing the results they are looking for. Professional supplements and functional tests are also available to help the clients reach their wellness goals.

 

Group seminars

Seminars  will be held periodically, and you can check the calendar for upcoming ones. They can be specially arranged for large or small groups to increase knowledge and awareness and teach useful tools for dealing with a number of nutritional issues; for example, Coping with Stress, Promoting healthy eating habits in children, Tackling Obesity, Nutrition in the Workplace, Making time to cook nutritious food.

 

Shopping

The practitioner will pick up the client and take him/her shopping and present tips for how to grocery shop with a meal plan, what to look for on packaged food labels to make healthier choices, which foods should be bought organic, and how to budget for wholesome eating.
